Here's a couple from last nights shoot. Similar pose different outfits and about 20 minutes apart. I see a couple of things I would have liked to have done a little different.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

Feels like I'm hijacking this thread today. Here is one I like but my wife doesn't. What is everybodys opinion?

^^^ not my cup of tea. It looks like you slimmed the jaw. Also look at the eyebrows- keeping her face on an angle helps even them out, but straight on it looks awkward. The thing is... I think our eyes naturally even them out in our brain and she may just love it:)

Good catch on the eyebrows jb. I didn't even notice them. As for the jaw line I didn't do anything to it.

Nice but I'd like just a bit more contrast.

Went out tonight to test a Rogue flash bender with the diffusion panel and to do some natural light shooting. Im finding I prefer the flashed look much better and there is less post process involved when you get the lighting right. This was with the flash bender and a 580. It did a very good job as long as your not in bright light. Pretty happy with this considering all i had to drag around was a 580. I will post a few more but i shot the entire session with the flash bender and experimented on how much light i needed to toss at scenes to make it work. definitely not something for 2:00PM in the afternoon, but 1 1/2 hrs before magic Hour and it does very well. I really like these rogue benders with the diffusion panels.

I don't do as many seniors as you do but I kind of went back to my 580ex II with an umbrella or soft box when ever I get the chance as they're so much lighter than my elinchrom 600RX and vagabond mini to carry around. On windy days though I stick with the heavier stuff so it's less likely to blow over. I was going crazy with the TT1 and TT5 system even on my LPA modified 580ES II so I just got the Phottix Odin's but haven't had the opportunity to use them yet.
