Supersteve - re post #819
White balance seems off with these. I recommend a WhiBal card or Photovision calibration target to get your white balance in the ballpark, then adjust from there.
#1 Lens flare shots can work sometimes but I would clone out the spots on her breast. It draws attention to the wrong place.
#2 I don't think this pose works for her, the shiny ring on her finger is distracting even though it's out of focus.
#3 I like, try shifting the color temp down a bit and move the tint slider a little toward magenta. A bit of fill flash for catchlights would really add life to her eyes, but that's a whole skill set unto itself.
#4 I think this is a good pose for her. Try boosting exposure half a stop and correct white balance as in #3.

#1 I like
#2 Would be better if you leveled the horizon - even if it's not level in real life.
#3 Very pretty
#4 Very cool. I like!
#5 I like.
#6 Too much flower in the foreground and not enough girl. The flowers overwhelm the subject.
#7 Well done.

Thanks... Ya the flower one is a bit much but she had asked for that,,, didn't even catch the horizon on the 2nd thxs

Great work Tien. She's a great model and looks like a natural in front of the camera.

Hello guys !!

I'm pretty new here, I'm a french IT student, I'm 18 and I like photography :)

this is a couple of picture from my FIRST shooting with a model, so please be tolerant !

This is not "senior" photos as you may call it, but I thought it has a place here

They are non-photoshopped pictures, only some Lightroom settings on the Raw.

One of my true loves in life has and will always be Motocross. I miss not being able to get out and race anymore. So when I get a HS seniors that calls and says " Hey,, I heard you do motocross pics. Can we do that for my HS seniors pictures' ?? Well i tend to get a little excited. Doug and I got out and played a bit after his Mom shots. Gotta love a rider that knows how to stay on the pipe at 30 MPH

I will post some mom shots later:lol:

Nice one Mike. I was suppose to do some similar shots last week but the boy traded his bike for a truck 2 weeks ago. I was really looking forward to it.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

I've been building a new website these past couple of days. I still need to add some contact information and pricing. Hopefully get that done this evening. To me it looks too boring but who knows. I would welcome any suggestions or comments. WWW.photosbydavidallen.com (external link)

I use photobiz. You can look there and get ideas. I actually like what you did here. Looks good.

I also use photobiz. (but so help me if I had time I'd probably switch.)

I think it looks good. Simple is good because parents can navigate it.

Maybe make some sort of cool video that plays under a "Why choose Me?" tab
