do you have any examples of this background in focus? Its interesting. :)

I have tried sequen backgrounds in the past but they never worked for me, I may have to give it another try now that I have a good full frame camera and im able to get a better ratio of camera/subject/background. :D

^^^ great leaves and track shot^^^ I might have to try that one just for kicks.

It hasnt been mentioned for a while, so I thought I would mention it here. :)

Train track pictures are pretty dangerous and Illegal if they are in use. I stopped offering them a couple of years ago after a couple photographers got killed by them and I realized how steep the fine is.

But I love the falling leafs. Wish I thought of that during my last senior session. :)

I love the black and white one, looks almost like it was taken with an IR modified camera.

Care to share the bw conversion secrets? :D

Great picture, I love the use of dof! I havent managed to put something in the foreground that is out of focus successfully yet. :)

Great picture! Is the pull back from this pose?

I generally bring one flash with me on a location session, this is making me want to try a few more next time. :D

Michael, welcome to the forum! I love the first one, and the background. Do you mind if I ask where its from and the name of it?

Its been over a year since ive added a new background to my collection and im trying to get some ideas. This the best one ive seen in a while. :)

The pose is great to. :)

One from my last senior portrait. First portrait with my new canon 6D and did the entire thing with my 135mm F2 lens.

Thank you! You don't really have to be spinning that fast to get this look. My husband was spinning us at a medium/low speed. My shutter speed was 1/20 so it took quite a few OOF shots to get a few that I could work with. :D

Thanks Gerry! The pullback is just him standing there, I beleive. I was setting my ambient exposure.

I always take all my flashes and speedlights (6) just in case I need them. ;)

You might be right about the pose... Im a pretty feminine dude and am much more comfortable posing women.

Killer work, Lisa. Can I ask what lens you used, are these natural light? What color are your curtains? What's your favorite color? Do you like birdwatching? How is the weather where you live? ;)
