Thanks Gerry! The pullback is just him standing there, I beleive. I was setting my ambient exposure.

I always take all my flashes and speedlights (6) just in case I need them. ;)

You might be right about the pose... Im a pretty feminine dude and am much more comfortable posing women.

There are like 200 poses for every male pose. :) Each year I get 1 or 2 male seniors and the rest are female. :)

6, thats a pretty hefty setup. :D unless half are backup. :)

Killer work, Lisa. Can I ask what lens you used, are these natural light? What color are your curtains? What's your favorite color? Do you like birdwatching? How is the weather where you live? ;)

She shot those with her 200 F/2.0 L.. Nothing else does this.. 135L is a close 2nd

I only carry 6 speedlights. I dont see me using all of them at the same time any time soon. I typically use one and maybe a second to add detail to an area.

Her images are a compelling advertisement for the 200L, for sure!

My sister, the professional baker and cake decorator once told me that my camera takes great pics. My reply was that I thought her oven baked great cakes.

Eh, I like her 85L and 200 2.8 images just as much. She's amazing, not the lenses. :D

Hi guys! I've been following this thread since shortly after its beginning. This is my first time working up the nerve to post here!

These two are Catherine, who I shot about a month ago.

Good stuff! Don't be so afraid to post. We're all poor photographers here. :D

One from this weekend. It was a bit of an adventure, needless to say, I need a tetanus shot today.

This shot isn't lit the best and wasn't planned since we were pretty much done with the shooting, but when the girl saw the road she just had to have a shot with it. All I had with me besides my 24" softbox which I had been using was a spare flash which I tossed to her friend and said "point this at her head like you're going to shoot her". I fired off two shots and this is what the young lady wanted. I guess you never know what to expect sometimes.
