At first glance it look well... GOOD! but if you stare at it to long it starts to look just a smidge uneven/ splotchy. It looks like you added a skin texture in some places but not others.

Well it's that time again for me, my son is graduating in June. I need to start getting his senior picture portfolio going ( I probably should have started last August when school started). I am hoping I have improved since my oldest graduated. Since it was snowing on Valentine's Day I decided to make the long  trek to the back yard for the first shot. I will be stalking this thread again for any ideas and tips. You guys are great!!!

I am thinking that I will do his open house invitation like this. I wasn't quite sure which picture I liked better for his invitation so I did 2 examples, who knows I will probably use a different picture when the time gets closer.

for those doing PAID spookesmodel programs, is this idea crazy?

spokes model fan pages?

create a fan page for them with their pictures, which is another way for them to promote your studio, and maybe give them a challenge, if they reach 500 fans or what have you, they get something, some sort of bonus?

These are from my first ever senior session last year. Yes, that was her actual hair color for the shoot. Her mother was NOT too pleased that she dyed it that color a few days before her shoot... C+C welcome!

Every senior I shoot that plays a sport, I give them at least one unconventional senior/sports shot. This was one of Brayden's shots.

^^^ was that one light to the camera left? Maybe a speed light to do high speed sync. I like it and will be doing something similar with a senior soccer player next weekend if the weather ever straightens out.

Yup. Camera left, almost dead center behind the backboard a few feet. Bare bulbed Einstein E640. About 4' off the ground. Hope that helps!

Random question: Does anyone happen to have the what to wear information I shared saved as a document? I had it posted on my site and apparently didn't keep a separate copy. It got lost in a site change. Can anyone help me pretty please?
