Right in the heart of Loch Awe lies a not so big but beautyfull waterfall,the Blarghour falls.
The force of the water has created a bowl as you can see in the first photo and right behind me in the second picture is the road bridge.
The amount of water it supplys the loch on a wet day is absolutely awesome(saw some pictures).
Unfortunetly the weather condition for shooting a fall (sunny) wasn`t ideal so i had a really tough time trying to meter for the right expossure in the first shot,the second one was better because i left the sun out.

Tell me what you think.

I like the 21mm sweep and the shutter effect and the light and the focus.... but I don't like the 'crop' of the falls.

Being Scotland, no doubt this place is located just down the road from Kilferret Castle or some such...

Loch Awe is on the way from Crianlarich to Oban , in Scotland.

Thank you for the comments , i had to frame it there , above the falls the place was bathed with sunlight and i couldn`d wait for later,i had to catch a sunset.

Those are some pretty awesome shots Dimitri. You guys sure do have some great photo opportunities over there. I have seen so many shots from Scotland lately, and have really enjoyed them.

I live in central Florida. . . . . . we have Disney.

First thanks for the comments,from what i`ve heard , Florida (and i wish i was there for a few months) is a paradise for nature photographers , nature photographers here get to shoot only seagulls and ducks.
You can`t have everything,i would exchange Scotland for Florida any time (but only for a few months),i love landscape photography.

Now on the other hand,if you are not a nature photographer,you are right,all you have there is...Disney.

Actually,it wasn`t my statement because i`ve never been to florida before in my life,it was John`s statement,i don`t usualy make rash statements.

But even if we take in acount the very ejucational link you gave us,well,i didn`t see any real landscape in it. :rolleyes:
