The game will last 7 Days and whoever can produce the best edited image (as judged by me) will be picked and it'll be their turn to post their unedited picture for all of us to take a crack at.

The participants must have their "Image Editing OK" turned on and they must provide at least a simple breakdown of how they edited the image, some entrants are a little vague on this point, please give us all details so we can learn and share tips. For instance if you use the unsharp mask tool or Smart Sharpen, provide us with the adjustments you used so others can try them out.

You can post multiple images, but the first image you post will be the one that is judged - all other images will be considered for knowledge and tip use only.
Feel free to comment and/or ask questions at any time. This is a good competition for learning new methods, so let's make it a bit more dynamic. I will be judging edits, not comments. Feel free to comment on the original image as well.

If you happen to be the winner of the game please start the next one with the title of the game and the following number. For example…the next game should read "Before & After #461"!!!

Submissions end Friday, February 22nd, 2013 at 10 o'clockish (Eastern standard time) and a winner will be announced.

Here is a link to a RAW File (that i hope works).
Because i have the link to the file, i am posting it now. Tomorrow i will put up the jpg for those that want to use that (i would do it now, but i am visiting my parents and their comp is upstairs as i type this at 12:30.)
Good luck, everyone... And please give it a shot because i will feel like sh!+ if i kill the
great participation streak. :)

Loaded in Camera Raw and adjusted exposure, highlights, clarity, vibrance and sharpened.
In CS6, duplicated BG then made selection of sky, dropped in replacement, smart sharpened and stroke to finish.

I have narrowed it down to two. :)

This was a tough decision, with 2 great edits.

Yb98: the building exposure and space sky really works for me. Looks like some crazy as sci-fi alien city.

NigelD: great work on the building recovery and sky.

Really good work guys.

Damn, i feel bad making the decision because it is so close.

Take it YB98, the overall cool feel put you ahead.

Congrats.

When I first saw this image, I was going to give this B&A a shot. But when I saw yb98's incredible edit, I knew the game was over already. Very awesome edit, yb98. Well done.
