Ahh nice mix, close enough :p. Similar eyes from that whole region I suppose, I had a great time in Vietnam this past summer. Wonderful people there. I would like to go to Thailand in the near future.

The North of Thailand is my favourite and have built a house there - the south is to touristy and seedy for me :)

Very nice, the further north in Vietnam we went the nicer it seemed to get! We didn't get that far north (Nha trang) however it was beautiful and mountainous up there with nice beach fronts. We were located in Saigon and made it to Rach Gia on the gulf of Thailand too which was OK. Not spectacular (ocean was gross) but the culture and people were awesome.

I find the closer to major cities you get the more you loose (globalisation I think is the cause - everything seems the same, or at least familiar)
