Lighting setup help

Im looking to shoot some full body portraits. Im going to be using a AB800 with an octabox as my main. I wanted to use 2 strip boxes behind the subject to the sides but don't have the money for the strip boxes. I currently have a westcott apollo softbox as-well as 2 umbrellas. Would the 2 umbrellas be good enough to act as the strip boxes?

You can go with a bare reflector to get a hard rim light or you can make two v-flats and shoot into them to get the same effect as strip boxes.
