Hi all,

Put about 4k clicks on my camera last weekend at Bathurst.

A few of the two Erebus Mercedes SLS AMG GT3's. Hard to get a bad photo of these beasts. #63 (Purple Porsche Eater) was 2nd place until late in the race when a mechanical issue ruled them out of a podium. #36 ended up taking the win.

More to come soon. Still processing the other manufacturers.

Aston Martin... The white one before it suffered some pretty solid damage to its front left quarter.

Thanks guys. I worked it out to be about 1 in every 5 shots was a keeper. Arms were tired after 3 days of panning a 100-400. Next purchase, monopod...

Nice shots.

It was nuts that they drove 19D the whole way around the track like that, it clearly wasn't going to continue, and risked oiling the whole circuit.

Great panning technique. Love the SLS. Those things are mad.

I would have liked to have seen some evening/night shots, but sorry, but in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES specifically state: "Do not use the forum as your image gallery, post only the best of the best and link to the rest."
This means we allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of 2 attachments + 6 embedded (linked) images, totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.
