OK, so this photo was already soft. But it had so much emotion. That was until I tried to upload it, and it was too big. It was looking OK at 1.7M.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I see a lot of pictures on here much sharper and bigger.

You will want to embed your pictures from another site where you have them hosted (flickr, smugmug, zenfolio, etc.) rather than upload them here and attach them to the post.

Hope you don't mind FB for now.
Lets see if the emotion comes through in this bigger, although not so sharp pic.
Taken with 60D, 70-200 2.8II.

FB picture is not showing up here. But copied the link and took a look on FB. It is better there. Could use a bit of post processing for WB, exposure. If you turn on image editing, I can show you my quick 30 sec edit of it. Not much to work with in a jpg though. If you shoot RAW there is more to work with.

Nice. Thanks sharpening that one up. I like it.
They just got scored on.
I love the expression on the goalie.
Our arena is not that well lit. I'm using a 580EX off the ceiling, though it was not always firing.
I shoot purely for fun. Although I have had a few offers on some of my shots from parents.

2EZ, I really like the facial expressions. It always amazes me at the intense concentration of the younger children playing.

RdAlert, I have to agree with LtDave about the processing, especially if that was just a quick post!

Heh, thanks. But really, my PP skills are quite limited. This was literally less than a 60 sec edit. There are others here who have mad PP skillz. :)

PS I just noticed the goalies facemask. "The Wall" LOL Love that.
