of course it started snowing at 5.15 yesterday,with fading light,so tough to focus.

Would you mind explaining the process of shooting these snow flakes, please?

Do set up a surface for the snow flakes to fall on with the appropriate lighting first? I'm sure you only have a short time before they begin to melt, correct?
