I thought about buying the Rokinon 14mm, but it might be too wide.
I'm on a tight budget right now, and I'm using a crop sensor (60D) for video.
Any opinions? Other options?

What about the Canon 50mm 1.8, they're around $100? 50mm isn't wide enough, it'll be good for event photography but not for video... Also, I have my father's 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor lens and all I need is an adapter if I want an excellent 50mm lens. Itai Jamshy - Site

Or you can get the sigma version for the same price if you need a faster lens. It's 2.8 on the wide end and I think F4 on the long end. - Alex Corona Sony A7, Canon 7DM2/EOS M, Mamiya 645/67

(not quite f2.8 and f4, if only! mine does f3.5 at 18mm and f5.6 at 55mm)

Feb 24, 2013 02:24 | #11 Well, now my budget is pretty big, but I'll need to return the money I'm loaning. I almost went for the 16-35mm f2.8 L USM but I don't know if I could make enough money to return the loan in the time I have. Itai Jamshy - Site
