in case anyone missed it, today apple revieled two of their new intel chip systems www.apple.com (external link) . the new imac, and macbook pro (formerly powerbook). let me tell you, after seeing the specs of the macbook pro (1.8ghz dual core, gig of ram standard, 256mb graphics card, 100 gig hard drive, better display) i am officially a mac fan. I was always stuck on windows because i like video games and other things that only windows can do well. now that i can have a laptop as nice as a powerbook, but as fast as a gaming midtower, and dual boot with windows and OSX..... i am a mac fan.

It's finally happened. I remember back in the day (years ago) people predicted all the time that Apple would switch to Intel and stuff. The Mac community always feared it and said they'd be disgusted by it. Now look at us, we're embracing it with delight. Personally, I can't wait to see the MacBook. It's gonna be running a dual-core version of the Pentium M in my Dell notebook. I'm psyched. Sadly, I won't be running OS X on my Dell. As much as I want to, I still support Apple's decision to lock out other hardware platforms other than their own designated ones.
