Looking up wind power.... Thinking about what you wrote, and looking at this wind mill I realize now I have no idea how THIS windmill actually works. I was expecting to see some kind of "shaft" going down the center to make things turn, but I do not see that!!

So with that in mind, just how does this windmill work?? Does this windmill actually work anymore??

Works about as well as the new wind generators, though this one would work better if it had a shaft. This one was just on display at the Elk City, OK Route 66 museum.

How does it work without a shaft?
