Hello ladies and gentleman :) I need critique on this few pictures that I took today since I want to kind of publish them and put one of them in a frame in a room as gift....

I think that #1 is your standout image. Your composition has a pleasing asymetric balance to it, and I like the multicolored low benches contrasted against the the strong vertical gray trees on the right. The receding brickway ties it all together. Bascially it's different, and you don't see it every day.

The second is ok - I feel there is too much light, empty space on the bottom. The last is fair - perhaps the scene is just too distant for my tastes to make out interesting detail.

You have your signature in a very non-traditional place which I don't think works at all. It breaks up and diminishes the image.

You're very welcome :D.

That first one would look great with a nice white matt, 2"-3" border, in a thin black metal frame if you're planning on hanging it.

I like #1 as well but it looks a little crooked... Other than that it's excellent!

Edit: Yup, I just straightened it and it looks much better.

I also like #1 the best. I fully agree with sapearl about the signature--that was the first thing I noticed to be honest. Keep them in the bottom right and you can add a couple of simple fx to the text so that it is semi-transparent and can be seen against all different background colors.

The signature itself looks good - it's just that it's location detracts from the photo. Traditionally most of them are located in the lower right corner.

I actually like the second one the best. I am viewing these on my IPad, so there is definitely a bit if a difference from my iPad to my Mac Book as far as brightness, but the first one looks a little dark to me. I just find the second one to be more interesting. It looks like that walk way goes on forever.

You definitely have a brightness issue with the iPad.

Try this: Type your signature as normal in a text layer and apply the following settings in the "layer style" (fx) menu. I made my sample signature a little larger then normal so you can see the effect. It's just a simple drop shadow and inner bevel with some opacity adjustments.

I'm going to go against the grain here. Unless those shots have some special meaning to you, I don't know why you'd want them on your wall? 6-months from now, you're going to wonder why you bothered to put them there.
