For those who have liked Adorama and their photo pages, I came across a post that for the next day you can email someone there and get $25 off a new metal print. no minimum but if the cost of what you order is less than $25, you won't get a refund.

Anyway, check the adorama FB site. I've never ordered a metal print so this would be a perfect way to try one out.

Well I've sent the e-mail and have gotten no response as of yet. Not sure how long the discount is good for.

from the adoramapix FB page, they said they were going to wait until midnight to to begin emailing people.

i assume they got a ton of emails, so it will probably take time to respond.

Does anyone know if I can still get the promo code? It looks like the deadline was last night at midnight.

Helen, can you help with this?

FYI I got my code today and ordered a print. Total, not including shipping, for an 8x8 print with the optional wall float fixture, was $31 and change. I applied the code I got and it came out to be FREE (funny because when I apply the code it says it's for $25 off). I got greedy and added a 16x16 print as well. Total came out to be $90-some odd dollars and the discount became $50-some odd dollars. I've never seen a metal print, though, so I took the 16x16 print out of my cart and just went with the free 8x8 print (though I had to pay the $7 shipping, big whoop).

Long story short, I got $31 off my order (translate into a free 8x8 print)!!

AWESOME FIND!

Never saw one yet, and I got my code. Do you think I should go with a really nice landscape, to test the vibrancy that they advertise, or what would be a good test?

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

For those who haven't tried metal prints, I highly recommend them. Bright, colorful, contrasty images are stunning on metal. I haven't tried Adorama but assume they use a similar process to Bay Photo or Meridian, both of which I have used. Now tempted to try Adorama also.

I did my print in black and white from a roll of 120 I shot on my Rollei a month ago. Hope it's just as cool in B&W.

Figures, I posted this and still haven't gotten a code to use. Even worse is that I'll be on vacation until the time the discount expires.

I have not printed any of my photos on aluminum yet, but I've seen plenty of metal prints and they are stunning. If anyone takes advantage of this deal and has used BayPhoto before, I'd like to see how AdoramaPix compares.

Thanks,
Bryan
