Well, I finally gave diffusing an external flash a shot today. I've been shooting macro for years, but always with natural light. :oops: I'm as green as it gets with external flashes!


Luckily, this wolf spider (same sp. as the one in my last thread) was much kinder and did not bite me. ;) Shockingly, I found this fella under the same rock as the last wolf spider and snake I found just the other day.

Great shots! The rock must have something special to attract them! Maybe some preys nearby!

We used to have this 1' round slab under the faucet which we set the chicken's water dish on. The rollie-polllie's loved getting under it. If the chicken's saw you start to move the water dish, they would stampede over to you because they knew we were going to flip it over. :D
