First shot with my Nifty 50

Had my Nifty 50 sent to my office so I had to play with it at lunch. Took this of one of the guys who works for me. I think I will like this lens for using indoors without a flash.

Had I thought about it I wouldn't have opened it up wide and gotten a little more depth of field to get his whole face in focus. Didn't notice how narrow the DoF was at f/1.8 until I took a close look at the original image.

I think I'm gonna like this lens. :)

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the same lens - I've been stalking the UPS man, he's probably afraid to come to the door ;)

Finally got mine the other day! :)
Overall, very happy however build quality could of been better, but hey at the price you can't knock it!
