These are great shots..glad I don't have to try to figure out the difference between a Black Capped Chickadee and a Carolina Chickadee. I googled it, but that just confused me more, until I saw drawings of the two side by side...that helped...a little!

Many thanks to you all for commenting. We love to share our birds.
kinghong - For perches we use a variety of easily moved driftwood pieces, tree branches, potted plants, and a few man-made things as well. Plus we have living trees, berry shrubs and various flowering plants quite near to our shooting locations. I have recently shot some images which feature some of the perches themselves, and hope to do a little blog article on this somewhen soon.
