Nice work, Lonnie. I especially love the 'Awwwwwww' pictures of Ashley. I hesitate to call her a dog. She's that special.

WOW Lonnie, your shots are stunning. Who cares about your seal shots, the others are great especially the show on the pier and the one of Ashley is suitable for framing. Welcome home.

Beautiful shots Lonnie! Of course, we all went "awwwwwww" when we saw the one of Ashley in the snow. So cute. The landscape shot of Yosemite is great. This world has so much beauty to offer.

I have changed my avatar because the old one was out of date and no longer politically correct:cool:

Wow, thanks everyone. We had a lot of fun on that trip, both with the group and out on our own in the days after. California sure does have a lot of scenery to offer.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Holy macaroni Lonnie. Those are fabulous photos and Ashley is a sweetheart.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Lonnie:
I think I may have found a distant relative of Ashley's.
I had completely forgotten about this photo.

This was way back in my almost-newbie days here in the forum :)

Ashley's Distant Cousin maybe??

Could be. :D Maybe that was one of Ashley's parents...

My next door neighbor and aunt both had cats with the same eyes, too.

BTW, after we left you guys at the restaurant Saturday night, we drove over to the Fairfield Inn in Paso Robles. On my last trip to the room with the luggage, I encountered a 'gentleman' in the hallway outside our room.

He was quite naked, and was trying to get into the room across the hall. Evidently there was a group of people having a party, and he had volunteered to go get ice. When I stepped off the elevator, he beat a hasty path back to the room, but his 'buddies' were a little slow opening the door for him.

And you guys thought you had all the fun.
