I had never photographed a belly dancer before until Katerina reached out to me for new photos for her website. I'm pretty happy with the results...

The second one does not show the feet; which surprised me, making it a bit more etheral. I wouldn't have any concerns about the wrinkle in the belly, as this is normal for belly dancing. My MIL did this many years ago. It was more fascinating than I thought it would be. No pics were allowed however, as some had been done for harmful reasons of embarrassing perticipants. It is a beautiful art and very colorful, which your first shot caprtures strongly. There's actually dragged the shutter in both, it's just more prominent in the first with the bright colors. Regarding her body, she has a belly dancer body, not a swimsuit model body. I'm first and foremost a fashion photographer, so trust me - I noticed it loud and clear. I asked her if it bothered her, and it didn't one bit. 5DII, 7D, 20-35 2.8L, 35L, 40 Pancake, 50 1.4, 85 1.8, 135 2.0L, 300 f/4L IS, 580EXII, Alien Bees, Bags & Bags & More Bags.
