I'm pretty sure that he goes south every winter, and doesnt have the means to post while he is away, hopefully the old codger will be back in the spring and we can all enjoy his unique sense of humour once again

Dimitri, Julie and Wayne, the rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated, as Sir Winston once said......I am happy to be back in the saddle with a new PC and a new Internet service provider.
Thanx for your concern over my well being.
Peter

Hey Petkal, great to see you here again! Whew, I'm really glad to see that you are alright. So, computer problems eh? I was thinking about a more exotic scenario, such as you flying down to Fiji and stalking the island birds with your wide angle lens. Welcome back! Here's the old 'Where's Petkal thread' by the way :) https://photography-on-the.net …t=124320&highlight=petkal

Thanx Nick. Incidentally, how could Mark Twain expropriate Sir Winston's quip ?
