I also have an Olympus Tough TG-820 for the water parks, scuba, and pool fun. But the Tough's IQ doesnt do it for me so I usually grab my Fuji X100 as my default camera when heading out the door. The 10D is more fun to use though, and I have a lot more to pick from in terms of focal length. I think a G series is a great compliment to an EOS. I end up using them both for different things. 1Ds Mk II, 10D, G15. 400 2.8 IS L, 100-400 L, 70-200 2.8 IS L, 75-300 EFII, 180 3.5 Macro L, 28-80 EFII, 17-35 2.8 L, 15 Fisheye. I have always toyed with getting a real P&S camera, but since my iPhone is so readily accessible, I really don't see the need.
