I've been doing Real Estate photography for about a year and just switched from the 5d mk 2 to the 3 and I don't think my pictures are coming out as good. Attached is an example. I can't figure out how not to blow out the window. I shot it at F14 and -3, 0, +3 EV. Is the sun stronger in the winter? The sun was on the opposite side of the home so the window wasn't getting direct sunlight. I use photomatix and the style of HDR was fusion adjusted. I own a MAC and am limited to certain software.

One other thing, I haven't adjusted any color so this is straight out of the photomatix. I'm more concerned about the blown out window right now but plan on fixing the color.

You need to post the three images you shot for the merge. If possible, post a link to download the raw files.

At first glance it appears that you did not meter the outside exposure properly.
