I'm glad you started this thread. I love doors! The first one is from a village near Chatsworth, UK. The second is in Rye, NH.

Here's mine from a couple days ago. Sorry if you have already seen it, but this thread needs some more doors. ;)

Interesting topic! Here's mine. Maybe not technically a "door" shot, but that's the closest thing I've got right now...

Ok, let's keep this going. Here is the door to the morgue at Alcatraz Prison. It's not a pretty picture, but it has a door. :D

In keeping with the Alcatraz theme.....these are the doors to solitary confinement (not much more desireable than the door to the morgue)!

I think this will be my last door shot, but don't get too excited because I do have more. ;)

This is on a little house in St. Augustine Florida. I have cropped it to emphasize the door just for the sake of this thread.

Keep them coming!

Great shot John (the mail slot seems out of character....but it even has mail)!
These are not good photographs, however the door depicted is a famous one....the entrance to the Hearst Castle.

Love the door theme, but you'll be sorry . . .

I have so many door photos that it was hard to select which ones to post here.
I decided to go with an assortment of Italian doors.

A very old door in Florence:

A San Gimigiano door:

Siena (or was this Montalcino?):
