Going to put in an order with AdoramaPix as I received the Facebook $25 off code for a metal print. I've never even seen a metal print in person so really not sure which image would be best for this type of surface.

Not sure if I should go with colorful, b&w, or grungy. I also may change the crop ratio pending the size and print I go with.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback for those who have experience with metal printing

You're suffering from the same delimma that concerns me...I like the drama of your pier and would like to see your seascape (8713) in B&W, not the green version.
Might suggest that, due to the different sizes, place of display might help determine your choice.

Regardless...I do want to hear your feelings about metal prints should you opt for a B&W. ;)

Thanks for the feedback
Because this will be our first metal print I am thinking about sticking with an image that has been printed so I can comparer. We actually just started printing (8 canvas prints) last month and really like the canvas results. The sunrise on River Street (#2) will be arriving in 36" X 48" Canvas tomorrow. This may be the one I try out for comparsion. I do plan to post reviews of the metal print and having the same on canvas next to it should help.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't do a b&w in metallic; the light areas won't be white, but silver, which will actually make them look gray-ish.

I think 2, 4, and 5 will look nice in that order.

Image wise I would choose the last one hands down. Not sure, how it will look like in metal print, though.

Not sure if these are pros or cons for these prints on metal.

The 36" X 48" canvas of #2 arrived last night and is now hanging on the living room wall. I'm going to print it in metal for comparison. I also heard the code gives a discount for the 2nd print. If so, I will order another which will be one of the others. Not sure at the moment.

#2 would of been my choice also. #1 is a wonderful capture.
