Has anyone successfully used the 9 multiple exposure that 5D3 provides as focus stacking.
I tried, but the lack of alignment, it did not work well.
Yes 9 is a small number but if alignment is not an issue it should work pretty well as stacking.

But one thing you might try is doing the stacks in batches. Stack in groups of three, then stack the three. I've had that work well when I had a poor stack to start with Not sure why, but call me JJ.
