Could I update EOS 20D firmware with a new version?
I'm wondering, how could i update my EOS 20D firmware with a new version??

Depends on what version firmwware you currently have. The most recent version is 2.0.3. The links at the various Canon sites provide explicit directions on the process, omitting to mention only that you can't have the camera in one of the "Basic" modes" to check firmware versions.

I just did with a month old 20D that came with 2.0.2., and it seemed to have fixed the communication problem I was having between the camera and the Kingston card. No more disappearing images after the firmware upgrade!!!

I too have updated a couple of times. As Jon said - The Canon web site gives you full instructions - READ THEM AND FOLLOW THEM EXACTLY!
For instance, You are meant to take the lens off. I believe that an early update failed if you left it on.
