Monochrome or Color?

Ok guys need some help here. So basically in your opinion which one works better, monochrome or color? and why? Also any suggestions/criticism concerning lighting, composition, contrast.

I like the B&W because I'm partial and the reflection matches.

I would rather see a mix. Had the counter top, or what ever the camera was setting on, been without the brown and the color of the entire camera been in the reflection, I think it would be better.
What I'm getting at is the brown of the reflecting surface just kind of kills it for me, but I like the colors on the camera.

Sometimes it doesn't matter, and photographing a subject like this is a time that it doesn't matter.

As others have pointed out, the brown reflection in the color image is a fault, not a feature, and that's the only thing that makes the black and white image pictorially superior in this case.

Very good work, btw. I might like a bit of accent on the right side, though. I'd like to see in this sort of image what that edge of the camera looks like.

Now I'm kind of waffling on the two. With the color image, my eye goes straight to the colors reflected in the lens. What do you want the focal point to be in the image?

B&W is my preference FWIW.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm starting to lean more towards the b&w image, although my preference in the beginning was the color one.
