This was 1-2mm long, think it may be Isotoma viridis.

Good capture with this red BG Lester.
Determination is not easy with more than 8000 different species within the Springtail family. But I think you're right about this one.

What is the magnification here?

It is a a glazed ceramic, but the springtail fell out of some moss I moved. I only just spotted him.

Though you did excellent job with the macro part as usual, I think BG color is overwhiming dominent and I see its cast on the actor, not leting him to shine or in this case not shine.

I agree it is rather strong, but it is where he was unfortunately. I had trouble seeing him on that bit of pot by eye, so I am sure I would not spot one in moss, which I think is their normal habitat. Of course green against green would give poor subject separation.
