FIrst attempt at night shots

This was a 30 second expusure taken just after the sun went down. In the middle of the exposure (on the first shot linked), the parking lot lights behind me turned on and I had to play with the white balance to get the colors right on the car itself. In doing so, the sky became much more blue than it actually was. Overall, I am happy with the shot but I welcome your comments and criticisms...

cool pic, has a surreal feel to it, the car feels 3d because of the lighting !

I love the colour of the sky in the last shot! Like you said, the WB from the parking lot is a problem- not so much on the car itself, but the pavement. Can you get up on the grass and use the same background?

There is no way to set up on the grass at this location. I need to do some looking in the daylight to scout out a good place to try again.

How I hate those things! :D Just when the light get "right", they screw everything up!
