Very nice shots.

I can't create beauty with my camera, I can only capture it.

Looks as if the 2nd and 3rd are taken through glass. Nice still.

Edit: I should have paid closer attention to the Helicopter ride part ...

you can`t decide where to seat, they have to balance the total weight of the passengers, we were 6. There was a lot of things to consider, the reflection on the glass, the smash mosquitos on the glass, and the space. I enjoyed the ride and like you said I took a few nice shots.;)

I loved all 3. Since we are going this summer, do you recommend the helicopter ride? My husband wants to do the whole donkeys down the side of the canyon experience and I am not so eager. I have a bad back. What equipment did you take?

I totally recommend it, it`s a very neat experience but believe me you don`t want to stay more than 50 minutes on board, it`s uncomfortable.

You don`t get to choose where you want seat, they balance the total passenger weight , so you may ended up in the worst seat of the helicopter.

All I have is the rebel xt and the kit lens, I took a tripod but if you`re planning to go to different shows for security reason they won`t let you in with it.

Very nice shots particalrly the 3rd shot.

Question was there any particular reason why you shot in portrait mode in the 1st 2 shot???

Before I took that picture I took one of my husband and I was taking it when thru the viewfinder I saw the background I didn`t waste any time so I just shoot. you have to move fast during the ride or you wiil lose some great pics.;)
