These are some of the shots I have of the comet passing by our way at the moment.
1. Feb 6. Just starting to show a bit of a tail.
Sigma 500mm f/4.5 lens on 40D. 130 x 30sec iso800.

2. Feb 10. Star(comet) trail. You can see the comet moving slightly in relation to the stars. In the time it took to do the star trail, it had moved about 3/4 the distance from here to the moon.

3. Feb 11. Down to a 300mm (Tamron SP f/2.8) lens now and the comet has a well formed tail, showing some detail.

4. Feb 14. Tail is getting quite long (but still faint) as it passes the Small Magellanic Cloud and the globular cluster, 47 Tucanae.

Then it got cloudy and now the moon is out so it's all washed out. Hopefully I can add to it.
