On the property where most of my recent images (on my photoblog) were taken there is a smokehouse. This smokehouse is probably going to outlast the house, barn and carport that is on the grounds. The doorway was simple with a door that swings out and a door that also swings in. This piece of wood is the only thing that keeps the outside door from opening. In these modern times I doubt you will see someone build something like this without additional locking features, even on private properties.

You want this door locked? Just rotate the wood to stop the door from moving, noting fantastic or complex.
