How do i downgrade from lightroom 4.3 to 4.2?

I installed 4.3 recently on mac and it keeps crashing every time I try to click on the "brush" button to soften skin etc.

I've tried it like 10 times and it crashes every time i click on the brush button.. 4.2 worked perfectly.. only thing it didn't have is 24-70II lens profile but thats okay.. as long as i can go back to 4.2 il be happy!

Oh and also.. when i do downgrade.. my library / catalog will remain as it is right?.. i don't want to lose any files or the order I've put them in..

please help!

Well, if you find an Adobe download for 4.2 online you should be able to install it "over" your 4.3 version and keep your catalog intact, although make backups for security.

A quick search for "adobe lighroom 4.2" showed this for Macs:

^ thanks, downloading it now! I ended up uninstalling the LR app all together from Mac (catalogs folders are still there).. will install 4.2 and see if everything works perfectly

Hope it does, although you may need to "direct" your new install to File/Open the catalog!
