I may have posted this a long time ago, but with the recent Tunnel View shots, I figured what the heck. This was taken during a few moments of dryness back in March of 2005...

I LOVE the drama!!!! Great shot! This is one of the only places on earth where a drab and gloomy day can look as great as this! Really nice shot Mike.

Thanks Julio! The day was nearly a bust for photography. It was raining too much to do anything serious. Right before we decided to call it a day, I suggested going up to Tunnel View and this is what we got. :D

Mike, I love it when at the last minute you are ready to give up and you are rewarded for staying a little longer and getting a beauty like this one.
The weather changes so fast in the valley during and after a storm that anything can happen.

Great shot. Planning to be there some time in may, is this tunnel view shot easily accessed? What about glacier point? You guys are killing me with all these awesome shots...............Jo​e

ps what about photo ops in the sequoia forests? Any and all tips places to visit, hikes, and info will be greatly appreciated..........J

Tunnel View is easily accessible -- right at the tunnel. Glacier Point Road is usually closed Nov-May due to snow. Check with www.nps.gov (external link) on current conditions.
