Absolutely beautiful Tommy! I prefer the second shot with the green background but they are both very good. Were these taken with the 500mm L?

Tommy, really nice pictures, i do like the effect on the first one,it's something that i've be playing with but not on bird photos. bird detail on number two is better though. great work.

The picture is taken with canon 1dmk2 and a 300mm f/4 IS + 1.4 ext. I was sitten in a hide.

Great shots. Those little kingfishers are really difficult to catch. Usually, you only see a quick blue flash :lol:

It´s allways a pleasure to capture this little colorish bird, i love to see them fish, but havent yet capture them taking a fish. Thanks for you comment.
