Headed for spring training soon and I want to invest in a carry-on roller. I love Think Tank goods (in this case the Airport Security) but their prices are fixed and I do love a bargain (sale, auction, used, etc).
Not interested in a hard Pelican but they do offer a soft case Safari that is interesting because the laptop section unzips from the main section to meet carry-on requirements and I have to bring along my 17" laptop for work. Since I have my own biz, I will always have that requirement.
The Think Tank (even at full price) does not accommodate a laptop well unless you spend another $50 for a shorter divider set making the most expensive bag even spendier.
Recommendations on deals or models I should consider?
