I had one done, 30x20" from my old 300D and the print looks great! It's on my wall behind my TV. They are large format, so great for display stands. The paper has three layers of red, green and blue emulsion that is activated by laser, I think. .

They're a high-end continuous tone printer, similar to the LightJet or Chromira or Durst Epsilon. 16.7 million possible colors, apparent resolution of 4000 DPI. You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I've gotten prints done from a 300 DPI Chromira and 254 DPI Epsilon and they are incredible. COOL! Veni, Vidi, Snappi

Kinda weird, and hard to describe. The colors certainly are vivid, and the fact that they're continuous tone makes it seem like there's a *lot* more resolution than actually exists. I have a hard time thinking about going back to inkjet prints now. You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I get them from Elco in the USA now. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.

If you have a few, obviously the price comes down. They are nice people to deal with (I worked alongside them for a couple of years). I am sure there are others, but they always give me a good deal. Speak to Lawrence or Brendan and tell them I recommended them (Graham Middleton, you might get a 'special price'). Good luck. Graham trhanks everyone Veni, Vidi, Snappi
