Got this chappy today whilst I was out actually looking for feeding Ospreys (they were a no show). One minute this guy was sitting on the rock, the next he swooped along, caught a mouse I never even knew was there and then he despatched it in an instant by tearing the mouse's head off.

It all happened so quickly that the mouse would not have known a thing, making this, quite literally, a surgical strike.
