What's your proudest feature on this Ironman build so far?

Earlier in the thread he had mentioned the cod peice as the crowning jewel of the entire build. Would be interesting if that's changed.

Ooh that's a tough call. Probably the helmet, particularly the array I concentrated the lights, camera and camera into on one bracket.

I've been working on the hands for a few days now. Still not quite done on them, but this guy is starting to look pretty menacing with extra digits now!

Looks amazing. How difficult will it be to put those gloves on?

I can't imagine the fun you'll have during bathroom breaks. ;-)a

Probably less fun than the metal gauntlets would have been

It's a breeze. Inner glove just pulls on like any glove. Outer glove slips over the top and Velcro shuts it.

Gauntlet design explained.

In order to keep all the finger pieces aligned and together while allowing for bend, I have left some of the foam material in the joint, rather than cut them apart. A quick reinforce with the stretch lycra and contact adhesive before wrapping it all up in the same lycra.

Well done Bazz ... I continue to be amazed at your every turn. You are almost done with the build and then you will be busy for some time visiting the kids at the hospital.

I apologize in advance my friend, but I have to ask because I just can't imagine how you are gonna top this ...... what is next? Aside from a well deserved rest, I suspect you will not idle long. :)

Cheers!

I have another project in the back shed that is 8.4 metres long. I have already started on it, but I won't be working on it until the suit is finished. All I can say is that it is going to make the current project look like kids stuff.

Unlike the observatory and Iron man, the next project isn't for kids, not for community, youth or anyone else but me. I need to veg out with my creative therapy with no pressure or expectation. I think I'm my own worst enemy sometimes....

I hope you are not far from the water because that is a good length for a sailboat.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!
