Baby Super Gun?
Ahhh... the old, "process of elimination guessing game" huh? It might be, it might not be. That'll throw a spanner in the works..... :P

Observatory wrote in post #18050123 I have another project in the back shed that is 8.4 metres long. I have already started on it, but I won't be working on it until the suit is finished. All I can say is that it is going to make the current project look like kids stuff. Rocket-powered Autogyro, of course - how else would Iron Man get to and from the kids hospitals?

Seriously, Barry I've watched your builds from the observatory onwards, and never commented before - what you have achieved is amazing, and I take my hat off to you for your motivation, determination and inventiveness. Jul 21, 2016 03:42 | #1049 No money and no time for a few weeks, but today I managed to spend a bit on more foam material so I can work on filling all the joint gaps that so many other cosplayers don't tackle. 2,3,4&5. Trying to make a cover for the elbow that will bend and have the hard steel slide over it by just gluing the top of it in, but not the bottom. 6&7. Inside elbows looked ok and flexed with movement, but crumpled too much at 90 degrees so I cut it in the middle and remade the back piece a bit longer to slide under the front piece. 8&9. You might remember I had to keep trimming the neck pieces down so I could turn my head. The steel was just too rigid and the bottom of the helmet would strike and scrape. I have now replaced the top two rings with foam to cover the neck gap and still allow movement. IMAGE: http://i.imgur.com/PwVqsnJ.jpg 10&11. I wanted to fill the huge gap under the arms, so I've used foam with a few bits sprayed with a very thin coat of chrome spray.
