What system do you use to electronically follow focus?
I am just starting back into video after a 10 year hiatus and will be using my 5dii.
With my 5D I was manually pulling focus with a jar opener but I just built myself a crane/jib (rotorig
) and plan on also building a DIY slider/dolly both of which will require remote focusing for dynamic shots.
I am looking at budget prices and saw this one: V-Control (i might just order it to see how well it works)
Anyone have any experience with it or know something better with a similar budget? Youtube reviews of it seem decent (though USB remote focusing seem less receptive than the mechanical versions)?
More importantly, on a budget, what would or do you use to pull focus remotely?
