I was inspired by user TMR Design to build this right light, but wanted to take a step higher, and make it look like something you would buy at the store instead of the DIY look. With my dads help, here is what we came up with.

We found this circle maker at a garage sale a while ago, but it wasn't complete, that's why we taped a pen to it.

We don't have a heated garage so yes, this entire project took place in the kitchen, except the cutting the wood, we did that outside in the lovely 20 degree weather.
