Man... what a camera. I can't put it down. Today was like a whole new beginning. In the past I have not shot enough frames of a subject because of some kind of bad neural connection that made me conserve film  A lot of times I didn't bracket around a subject enough and in the end, though I "saved" film (dumb idea BTW...), I lost an opportunity to get "the" shot.

I still take my time but I find myself checking the exposure in one of the auto modes and then switching to manual and shooting at a number of different settings. I realize that the camera will do this for my but right now I am just having fun with photography. I also find myself shooting anything that even remotely looks interesting. And then I go back and shoot it again in a different way just to see if the shot can be improved.

My only real concern is whether or not I am going to be able to find a large enough hard drive to hold all of the keepers. :D

You might consider using exposure compensation instead of manual... it can just be easier. Have fun with your new toy/tool!

I have 5 hard drives on my main computer and I burn all my original shots to DVD :)

Have fun with your new camera!

 WOW... what an awesome plug-in. Thanks.

I've got pics stored on my photo site (external link)

But... this is the only one that I have used the plug-in on-

IMAGE: http://images15.fotki.com/v266/photos/4/42560/3078788/WethePeople_P-vi.jpg

I took it this morning :D I can't keep my hands off of my camera :D Not that I want to get into polyticks or anything but I thought that considering all the flack that Judge Alito has had to take it wouldn't hurt to remember the constitution this morning... Either that or this was the first coffee cup that I grabbed this morning and I didn't realize what it was until I decided to take a picture of it. :D

BTW- When I hold my cup next to the image on the monitor it's a dead nuts match

Cool plugin! I downloaded the 20D version and it works really well. Thanks!
