I've only snapped one photo of a cat so far-- "Mango" (mums cat). He's BIG and gnarly.

1.Sleeping in the blanket
2."Get that light out of my face, buddy or I will bite you!"

These are not great shots, due to low light and the Nikon S1 does not fair well in low light situation so I have to use the built in flash.

Since there are so many good shots here, I certainly do appreciate the comment. Thanks watchcaddy.

Here is our Tabby. His name is Baby. He was the runt of the litter, smaller than all the rest. He grew up to be the biggest.

These are great shots. On the second picture, one of them almost poke the other one's eye out.

I was out for a walk (minus camera) at my family home over the holidays when I heard/saw a cock pheasant in the next field. I ran back inside for my kit to try get a photo. I carefully entered the field to avoid spooking the bird and this is what I found instead:

I guess my cat, Blackie, was already stalking the pheasant. He's previously caught an adult female (which we rescued to his disgust), regularly chases my sister's dog and I once witnessed him trying to hunt sheep. I only wish I'd been into photography for that last one.

well some nice cats here,,, this is Quad he's a healthy 20 pounds , just before christmas he tried to attack a red tailed hawk, we're still trying to figure out if he's brave or stupid

This is Jenny she is Quad's sister you can usually find her 40 feet up a tree hunting Red Squirrels

this is Missy she is 20 years old and is hanging in there pretty good the old girl doesn't have many teeth left and doesn't move so great but she puts the run on Quad when he gets a little to frisky

What a great thread - I have been oooh-ing and ahh-ing over everyone's cats. Out of everything I take photos of, I have found that my cats are easily the most frustrating subjects, they demand a LOT of patience! But I can't resist it..

This is Deemy - a stray we took in a few years ago

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/kellymac/Cats/Deemy1.jpg

This is Tassie (named that BEFORE we moved to Tasmania..)

Gotta love cat photos!!
