Some people are like slinkies...not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

I can see your problem. But I think mine is worse. With the look in his eyes - you
think he did not get caught where he is not suppost to be?

IMAGE: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b36/larryschwager/birdhouse-1.jpg

and if he is not hanging out in the bird feeder he is sleeping.

All I can say is that there are some very bad kitties in this thread. ;)

I'm working on a feeder that will be cat and squirrel proof. Wish me luck!

Sunlight. Lightened eyes a bit.

Very handsome kitty. I love the ruff.

I'm a newbie at this stuff guys and I just registered here in POTN so please excuse if the picture is not quite good.

the neighbor's cat with heterochromia

Welcome to POTN, unfamous. The picture is very nice. Sometimes blue eyed hite cats are deaf. I wonder if it also sometimes happens with one blue eye.

... Looks like one typical Turkish Vans cat .....

Not sure of the breed, but not a T. Van. Here is our late Scooter with the typical van markings. They have a very thick undercoat that is practically impervious to water. They typically have a black and orange cap and a multicolored tail. I don't have a good picture of Scooter's tail, but it was black, orange, silver gray, and yellow. A very sociable and well mannered breed.

All this talk of Turkish cats, here's a scan of a pic of my late buddy Shiver. This was taken in my apartment in Izmir back in '91 not long after he moved in and took over. He was technically an Anatolian Shorthair (such a nice way of saying "Turkish street cat") and to say that he was sociable would be a horrible understatement. I couldn't board him anywhere without the people running the place saying they wanted to keep him. I had a friend who considered herself to be a "dog person" but within a couple months of meeting him she had two cats of her own.

My wife and I want to visit that part of the world again but she's afraid of whay i'll bring home this time around.
