I guess you always think about the critters where you live and how to help them - you kind of forget that there are animals all over the world that need help. Great shot.

This is amazing. I'm surprisied more people haven't commented on it. I can't tell if head is in perfect focus but it looks like a perfect shutter speed. I wish I could get a shot like this.

Thanks JeffreyO, much appreciated. I'm pleased to say the focus was accurate - here's a crop of her head: the nose is perfectly sharp. Shutter speed was 1/30s.

Unfortunately I managed to cut off the tip of his left ear, but I don't think he noticed.

Another thing is of all the cats we have the one with this coloring is the most difficult to photograph, especially indoors. I'd love to get some shots of her outside in the daylight but she's an old cat now and doesn't like to go out.

I like that capture of a moment of peace, in what must be a very challenging existence.

Not a very good shot but I think the timing was okay.

Oddly enough it is alive and well, still leaving hole all in my yard. Buster however has been gone for a little bit and I am hoping he comes back home. I have my suspicions that the Chipmunk may be to blame.
