Oh I've been around, not on here as much as I like to be, been pretty busy in life. My grandmother developed cancer, so I do alot of charity photography for cancer patients and their families. Getting married, adding more kids to the mix, etc etc.. lol

Also kinda hit a low spot in my creativity with photography. I ended up buying more gear to make up for it, of course it didnt help, but some fellow shooters are happy I did, they borrow it all. :P

How many "lines" of catnip is he snorting now? :)

We have some kitties who are also doin' catnip.

My wife sprinkled some finely ground catnip "dust" in their bedding. What was she thinking, anyway?

My wife has catnip planted in the yard. You ought to see our cats when they find a patch, it's hilarious.

I think all my kitties (including the fosters) love the catnip. It's so funny watch them get goofy.

Here are a couple of one of the foster/feral rescues and her favorite catnip mouse, or what's left of it. She's practically defurred it! A little background on her... she was WILD when I caught her and her sister. They were the last 2 of a litter of 5 I caught. I'd never had a cat get so totally freaked out that she literally had the poop scared out of her. She hissed, growled, and swatted at me and the vet for about a month. When she was spayed, they really tipped her ear as you can tell in the photos, hence her new name of "Tipper". She was spayed with the intention of letting her go back in the yard since she was so mean.

Then one night, she let me pet her and realized she liked it. She and her sister had been confined to the guest bath since I'd caught them, and then they finally started to come around. They both have awesome purrs, but I think Tipper likes to be petted more than her sister now!

They've been fully integrated into the rest of the kitty household for a while (no longer confined) and up for adoption on Petfinder. It proved to me that even the wildest ones can come around with some patience and TLC!
(BTW, she's likely one of the caramel culprits from earlier this week.)
